Ramzan Arrangements Reviewed at Historic Makkah Masjid; Minister Mohammed Azharuddin Visits for First Time

Arrangements for the holy month of Ramzan were reviewed at the historic Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin visited the mosque to check the facilities being provided for devotees.

This was Azharuddin’s first visit to Mecca Masjid after taking charge as Minority Welfare Minister. He was accompanied by Charminar MLA Mir Zulfiqar Ali, Mecca Masjid Chairman Faheem Qureshi, and senior officials from various departments.

Officials from the police, electricity (Transco), water supply, and other departments were present during the inspection. The team reviewed key arrangements such as uninterrupted power supply during Ramzan, cleanliness inside and around the mosque, drinking water facilities, and other basic amenities.

The minister instructed officials to ensure that worshippers do not face any inconvenience during Ramzan and that all essential services remain smooth, especially during prayer times.

Authorities assured that necessary steps are being taken to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment for devotees visiting Mecca Masjid during the holy month.
