Israeli forces launched new attacks on several areas of Gaza on Wednesday morning, killing five Palestinians and injuring many others. The strikes took place in the eastern part of Khan Younis, central Gaza, and northern regions. These incidents came only hours after another wounded Palestinian died from his injuries.
Local sources reported that in Beit Lahiya, located in northern Gaza, Israeli gunfire killed 22-year-old Shaker Al-Isawi and 37-year-old Yousuf Dawas. Several others were injured in the same attack.
Earlier in the morning, a school area near Al-Farabi School in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, was targeted by an Israeli quadcopter drone. Mahmoud Mohammed Abu Shaab was killed, and others were injured and taken to Nasser Hospital.
In Al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza, another Palestinian citizen was killed, and several were wounded after being targeted by Israeli forces.
Before these attacks, Eyad Fazal Al-Qahwaji, who was injured earlier in Bani Suhaila, also died from his wounds.
Additionally, Israeli aircraft bombed Rafah in southern Gaza early in the day, while helicopters continued firing east of Khan Younis.
Reports show that since the ceasefire announced on October 10, Israel has violated it hundreds of times. These violations have resulted in 349 Palestinian deaths and 871 injuries.
The ceasefire was agreed upon after two years of intense Israeli attacks that began on 7 October 2023, during which nearly 70,000 Palestinians were killed, more than 171,000 were injured, and about 90% of Gaza’s infrastructure was heavily damaged.
