Kunal Kamra Sparks New Controversy With T-Shirt Targeting RSS BJP Strongly Reacts

Comedian Kunal Kamra has once again landed in controversy. A photo he shared on social media shows him wearing a T-shirt that many believe mocks the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The moment the picture went viral, several BJP leaders reacted strongly and even hinted at possible police action.

Kamra explained that the photo was not taken inside a comedy club. He also said that the first letter on the T-shirt is not fully visible, so it might even read “PSS” instead of the assumed word. However, this clarification did little to calm political reactions.

BJP, Shiv Sena Leaders React Strongly

Maharashtra Minister and BJP leader Chandrashekhar Bawankule warned that anyone posting objectionable content on social media would face police action.

Shiv Sena minister Sanjay Shirsat, whose party is an ally of the BJP, said the RSS should give a strong response. He added that Kamra has earlier targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and now “he has dared to attack the RSS.”

Past Controversy

Earlier in March this year, Kamra faced huge criticism when he sang a satirical song targeting Eknath Shinde during a live show. After that incident, Shiv Sena workers vandalised the Habitat Comedy Club in Mumbai’s Khar area, along with a hotel in the same building.
