Tragic Bus Accident in Madinah: 42 Hyderabad Umrah Pilgrims Feared Dead; CM Revanth Reddy and Asaduddin Owaisi Express Deep Grief

A tragic accident on the Makkah–Madina route has shocked families in Telangana, as 42 Umrah pilgrims from Hyderabad are feared dead. The pilgrims had completed their Umrah in Makkah and were on their way to Madina when the accident occurred early on Monday.
According to initial reports, the bus carrying the pilgrims collided with a diesel tanker at around 1:30 AM (IST) near a place called Mafarhat. Sources say there were 43 passengers on the bus, and only one person survived the crash. Many of the victims belonged to Telangana, including 20 women and 11 children.
The pilgrims had travelled from Hyderabad through two operators — Fly Zone Tours and Al-Makkah Umrah Group. Their dream of visiting the blessed city of Madina turned into a heartbreaking tragedy.
As news reached Telangana, an atmosphere of deep sorrow spread across the state. Families are distressed and anxiously waiting for more information about their loved ones.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed profound grief over the incident. MP Asaduddin Owaisi also expressed shock and said he has contacted the Indian Embassy for immediate updates.
