Madinah Bus Tragedy: Victims to Be Buried in Saudi Arabia, Says Minister Azharuddin

Telangana Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin said that according to the latest information, 47 to 48 people lost their lives in the tragic bus accident near Makkah.

The Minister informed that a control room has been set up at the Haj House to provide updates and support to the families of the victims. He said the government will arrange for at least one member from each affected family to travel to Saudi Arabia. If someone does not have a passport, the government will help them get one immediately.

Azharuddin also said that many bodies were badly burnt, and DNA testing may be required for identification. He spoke with the Indian Consul General, who assured him that the victims will be buried in Saudi Arabia, which is the usual practice for those who pass away there.

He added that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to extend every possible help to the grieving families during this difficult time.
