Telangana Government Orders Singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ in All Educational Institutions Today

The Telangana government has issued orders for the singing of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ across all educational institutions on November 7, marking the 150th anniversary of the song.

Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao released a circular instructing all District Collectors to ensure that the song is sung at 10 AM in all government and private schools, colleges, and local body institutions across the state.

The government has also asked that the song be performed at the public level, encouraging people from all walks of life to participate in the event. Officials have been told to strictly implement the order.

District Collectors have been asked to issue directions to all Heads of Departments, educational officers, and institutions to organize the event.

Additionally, schools and colleges have been instructed to submit reports and photographs of the program to the government by the evening of November 7.
