AIMIM MLA Mir Zulfiqar Ali Meets Victims of Chevella Bus Tragedy at Vikarabad Hospital

AIMIM MLA Mir Zulfiqar Ali visited the government hospital in Vikarabad to meet and inquire about the condition of those injured in the tragic Chevella bus accident.
Soon after the accident, the injured passengers were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The horrific accident took place on Monday morning in Ranga Reddy district when a gravel-loaded tipper lorry collided head-on with a state-run RTC bus. At least 19 people, including a 41-day-old baby, lost their lives on the spot.
According to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), the lorry lost control while trying to overtake another vehicle and crashed into the bus coming from the opposite direction. The incident occurred around 7 AM near Chevella, about 50 kilometers from Hyderabad.
AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, calling it “horrifying.” He posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“News of the #Chevella bus accident is horrifying. My prayers are with those injured and the families of those who lost their lives. I hope the accident victims are compensated, a thorough investigation is carried out and those responsible are punished.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Telangana state government have also announced financial aid for the families of the deceased.
MLA Mir Zulfiqar Ali personally met the injured patients at Vikarabad Hospital, spoke to the doctors about their treatment, and assured the victims’ families of all possible support.
