Mohammad Azharuddin to Take Oath as Telangana Minister on Friday at 12:15 PM

Former cricketer and Telangana Congress working president Mohammad Azharuddin is set to take oath as a minister in the state government. According to party sources, the AICC (All India Congress Committee) has given the green signal for his induction into the Cabinet.
Azharuddin will be the first minister from the Greater Hyderabad region in the current government. His swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place at 12:15 p.m. on Friday at Raj Bhavan, where necessary arrangements are already being made.
Meanwhile, Telangana BJP leaders have written a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), requesting that permission for the Cabinet expansion not be granted during the election period. Election officials, however, stated that the matter has been reported to the Central Election Commission, and a decision will be taken only after their response.
On the other hand, the state government has formally informed the Governor about its decision to induct Azharuddin into the Cabinet, following which preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are underway.
