The murder of 32-year-old Civil Services aspirant Ramkish Meena in Delhi has taken a shocking and unexpected turn. Police investigations have revealed a disturbing web of deceit that sounds straight out of a spy thriller.
According to Delhi Police, Ramkish was killed on October 6 by his girlfriend Amrita Chauhan, a 21-year-old forensic science student, along with a few of her friends. Initially, it appeared to be a routine murder case, but what police found later has left everyone stunned.
During the investigation, police recovered a hard drive from Ramkish’s room — and that device turned out to be the key to unraveling the mystery. When forensic experts checked the contents, they discovered private videos of Amrita and nude photos and videos of 15 other women stored inside.
Investigators learned that Ramkish had a habit of secretly recording women’s private moments and saving them. This behavior, police say, ultimately led to his death.
Ramkish and Amrita were once in a relationship. During that time, he had recorded private videos of her. When Amrita later asked him to delete them, he refused. Fearing that he might leak the videos online, Amrita allegedly planned to eliminate him.
On October 6, Amrita, along with her ex-boyfriend and another friend, went to Ramkish’s residence and murdered him. To make it look like an accident, they staged a gas cylinder explosion and took away the hard drive.
However, police managed to recover the hard drive, exposing the entire conspiracy.
Authorities are now trying to identify the 15 other women whose private images were found, though no formal complaints have been lodged so far.
The case remains under active investigation.
