A U.S.-based South Asian research organization, SALAM, has released a detailed report alleging that India’s Tata Group played a role in supporting Israel’s military actions in Gaza, which have been described internationally as acts of genocide.
According to foreign media reports, the 59-page document exposes what it calls the “India-Israel military partnership” and claims that the Tata Group has directly benefited from and contributed to Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza.
The report specifically mentions Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) — a subsidiary of the Tata Group — stating that it supplied crucial components for Israel’s F-16 fighter jets and Apache attack helicopters, both of which were reportedly used in the recent bombings in Gaza.
In addition, TASL is said to manufacture the command and control systems for the Barak-8 missile system, developed in collaboration with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
The report also points to Tata Motors’ subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover, which allegedly provides essential vehicle parts used in Israeli military patrol vehicles.
Further, the document claims that the Tata Group assisted Israel by supplying drone technology, ammunition, and even labor support to aid operations in Gaza.
While the report has sparked strong debate on social media, neither the Tata Group nor Indian authorities have yet issued an official response.
Analysts say the revelations, if verified, could add a new dimension to the growing scrutiny over global corporate involvement in conflict zones, especially amid the continuing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
