HYC Founder Salman Khan Booked for Alleged Communal Remarks in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Youth Courage (HYC) founder and president Salman Khan has been booked by the Borabanda police over alleged provocative communal remarks on social media.

When contacted by Media, Salman Khan said he was not aware of the police action.

Salman Khan is also a candidate in the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election, scheduled for November 11.

According to his election affidavit, Salman declared property assets worth Rs 5,18,101. He reported having Rs 70,000 in cash and Rs 14,284 across three bank accounts. His wife’s assets include Rs 1,618 in a bank account, Rs 20,000 in cash, and three tolas of gold.

This development comes amid previous allegations against Salman Khan, including misuse of crowdfunding funds, financial fraud, bribery, and misuse of charitable donations. There is also a case in which his image was allegedly used to defraud a Begumpet resident of Rs 7.9 lakh.

The police have confirmed that the investigation into the alleged communal remarks is ongoing.
