Hyderabad: Fire Breaks Out in RTC Bus at Mehdipatnam Bus Stand

Hyderabad, 26 August – (www.deccanlive.com): Hyderabad witnessed a tense moment on Tuesday when an RTC bus suddenly caught fire at the busy Mehdipatnam bus stand.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus had trouble starting, and the driver was trying to fix it when a short circuit caused flames to erupt. Within seconds, thick smoke and fire spread, creating panic among the people nearby.

The driver quickly alerted the fire brigade and asked bystanders to move away from the bus. Firefighters arrived on the spot and managed to control the blaze after a tough effort.

Fortunately, no passengers were inside the bus at the time of the incident, preventing any loss of life.

Local residents blamed poor maintenance of RTC buses for such accidents and urged authorities to take strict action to ensure the safety of travelers.
